200g spaghetti or any pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)

1 small onion (finely chopped)

2 medium tomatoes (grated or finely chopped)

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (pul biber – Turkish chili flakes)

Salt and pepper to taste

🔹 Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Boil water with a bit of salt and cook pasta until al dente.

Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
🔹 Step 2: Make the Sauce

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft.

Add garlic and cook another 1 minute.

Stir in grated tomatoes and tomato paste.

Add paprika, pul biber, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

If needed, add a bit of pasta water to adjust consistency.
